I had the pleasure of working on this Christmas short as part of a talented creative team. I took on the role of editor and also contributed to the film’s colour grading. The film was screened at Manchester Kino Shorts 75 and was nominated for the Birmingham Film Festival, marking a rewarding recognition of the team’s creative work.

Title: Average Joe

Description:
This project was developed during my time as a Master’s student. At the start of the year, we were challenged to create a short film in just 72 hours, based on the theme of "work." Our team was heavy inspired by Edgar Wrights work and we produced a short piece centered around Joe - an ordinary office worker stuck in a monotonous 9-to-5 job, daydreaming about escaping the routine to pursue something more colourful and meaningful.

Title: Binoculars
My Roles: Editor, Colourist
Description:
This short film was created during my undergraduate Film Production course, where we explored visual storytelling through creative use of aspect ratios. We chose to work in a 4:3 frame to reflect the emotional state of the main character, Devlin - using the tighter, more confined composition to mirror his feelings of isolation and restriction throughout the film. This project allowed us to experiment with visual language and understand how format can enhance narrative meaning.
